Hackathon Erasmus+ Flors-Aveiro
“Build your robot”
The Erasmus+ Flors-Aveiro Hackathon “Build Your Robot” is a school robotics competition to be held in May 2023 in Aveiro (Portugal), organized by Fundación Flors and the AEJE (Agrupamento de Escolas José Estêvão). A meeting of students and teachers who will work in teams to overcome four challenges established in advance and a surprise challenge that will be published in those days. Previously, the teams will build step by step their robots in their schools, program them and train them to overcome the challenges.
The Erasmus+ Flors-Aveiro Hackathon “Build Your Robot” is an Eramus+ project, open to students from all over Europe and co-financed by the European Commission through funds shared by different European countries. Its origin is the VilaBot Robotics competition (www.vilabot.com) and now it is growing internationally.

The partners of the Erasmus+ Flors-Aveiro Hackathon “Build Your Robot” are the schools Fundación Flors (Vila-real, ES) (https://www.fundacionflors.es/) and Agrupamento de Escolas José Estêvão (Aveiro, PT) (www.aeje.pt). The Fundación Flors centre is the “project leader” of the Hackathon, so that it establishes an ascending progression in terms of international projects supported by first class collaborating partners such as the AEJE centre in Aveiro.
